The lovely Bía Bar forms part of the Drury Court Hotel, located close to Grafton Street in Dublin’s city centre. In its recent refurbishment, its owners not only wanted to create a multi-functional bar and bistro that would serve the hotel’s diverse clientele, but one that would attract a steady passing trade.

They brought in McNally Design to design and build a space that was comfortable and funky, equally suited to an afternoon snack or an evening drink. With the help of some clever lighting, the atmosphere in each section evolves from day through evening and into late night. Meanwhile, the quirky features in each of its wonderfully different areas encourages customers to explore, giving a different experience every time they visit.
