Kilkenny Design

The Kilkenny Design Group was established to showcase the best in Irish design. With stores in Kilkenny, Dublin and Cork, it has now established a flagship in Galway. Our brief was to study their existing outlets and to create a new flagship standard in Galway. The new store would be the benchmark for future planned outlets in terms of interior design, operational efficiency and brand awareness.
The concept showcases Irish design within a modern retail environment. The café section on the 2nd floor has set a new standard in food and ambience for the discerning shopper to relax in. McNally Design created the concept and turn keyed the project. The building was listed and the approach drew on many skills – Concept Design, Architectural planning, project management & restaurant management.
