Joe Blacks – Hartford Connecticut
Joe Blacks is a simply breathtaking triumph in conservation architecture, design and original inspiration. McNally Design International liked so many of its original features they decided to highlight many of them in the finished venue – such as the bank vault door, which remains open, permanently!
Joe Blacks is the former home of Society for Savings Bank, dating back from 1893 and what was once the main floor now consists of The Modern Bar appointed with a classic fireplace (designed as a great place to have lunch in the afternoon and to meet after work for cocktails); The Victorian and Mid-Victorian Dining Rooms are richly appointed and offer a more formal dining experience; The Cottage Pub (a warm and cozy pub, in a traditional Irish setting) and The Society Room - a unique and historic venue for corporate events, weddings or celebration.
